BUT AREN'T OUR TAX DOLLARS ALREADY GIVING ENOUGH FOREIGN AID?

We think of the USA as a big spender when it comes to foreign aid. But take a second look. A visit to the website of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development shows us that for many years we have been near the bottom givers out of all industrialized countries when looking at the proportion given of national income. In 2006 the average given by all industrialized nations was 46 cents for every $100 of gross income compared to the 18 cents we gave. 

WORK for or DONATE to or INVEST in ORGANIZATIONS that provide support in a way that is sustainable--that gives the recipients a foothold so that they can move themselves and others out of poverty and therefore not have need for further aid. You will see some very exciting VISIONS being carried out here.
